GRAND CANYON

Last March my friends Nathaniel and Emily came out to CA to see me. They drove out here and decided to visit the Grand Canyon on their way back to MN. I said "Who the hell wants to see that?" They said "Its is just one of those things you gotta see." I had absolutely no interest in going but, Emily convinced me, so here is a picture of my fantastic trip to the Grand Canyon.

X-Mas Tree

The Family!!!!!

Yep it was my weekend of drill but, I was able to get home around 4pm on Sat. which gave us just enough time to go to a local X-Mas tree farm and find this years tree. It was a fun adventure and we stayed till around dusk and went to church. Nadia had a blast! Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Nape Wine Tasting, 49er's, Grace & Joe

Well everyone another update for you. Grace finally sent the pictures from a month ago already so here they are. From top to bottom and left to right. 49er's Football game against the Saints and yes they got their ass kicked. Joe is a huge fan of this crappy 9er's team. In the pic Maria, Myself, Grace and Joe. Next was Myself and Maria at a Wine tasting festival that we all went to and had a GREAT time I must say, Grace, Joe and myself got a bit warmed up with all the wine. We were there for 4 hours drinking and laughing. Last we have myself and Maria in front of a huge Winery Door way in Napa. I hope you all are having a great holiday season and if ya'll wanna get out of the cold for a bit give us a call.

San Deigo Trip

Hey Everyone!

I was down in San Deigo a few weeks ago and never got to upload my pics. I had a conference to attend down there and was able to stay at an excellent resort for a few days. It was located directly on a marina and I was able to get a few picture of our U.S. Navy heading out to sea. If you all can't tell with a complete flight deck full of Choppers they are going to Iraq. Yes I was able to find time one night to go cause a little bit of trouble. Hope ya'll are well.

Baby ROSENTHAL

So for those of you who don't know and for those who do, Maria and I are having a baby!!! Yep its true and it is super cool, I must admit your never ready but, when you see it happening in front you and the baby growing it is amazing!! The first ultra-sound picture we got just blew me away, I am still in shock. So the name is picked out already but, we wont tell you until he or she is born. I was able to pick the entire name and she approves so that is great. As for knowing the sex yes we will find out just not until Febuaray. So that means we may not find out until I return from school in Alabama in March. We go to hear the heart beat in two weeks though, amazing its all amazing. Being scared there is no time cause I am way to stooked. So the due date is 29JUN07 which is good because I will never have to work on that weekend because of the 4th. I will post a pic soon for ya'll.

Bayside, The Sleeping, June, A Day To Remember

Last Sat. I went to a concert in downtown San Francisco and it was rock star dude! Each band had their own style and sound. I was very impressed. The first pic is June and the rest are of Bayside. Bayside is one of my favorite bands and it was worth the drive into the city and it gave me a chance to get away form home and hang with a friend. We got out of there around 1am which was a bit later then expected but, cool anyway. I hope you all have a safe and HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I wish I was home to spend it with ya'll.

Halloween in CA

Hi Everyone

Sorry its been a minute I have been soooooooo busy with stupid work. I hope you all had a great boo day! Ours was ok, I worked all freakin day but, I was able to get home change, put Kyza's costume on, put the scary music on and decorate the house a bit. I enjoyed it, we had about 30-35 kids and had to fill the bowl twice so that's cool. I enjoy Halloween and wish I was back in MN I would have a huge Halloween party. How about when I return back to MN I will hold the biggest and best Halloween party ever! Ya'll have to come though! Here are some pics of the night. We were both super tired so give us a little credit. I look worse then Maria though. Kyza was a pretty dog. Her size still scared the little ones. :) Even in a super women costume she scared them. Nadia wasn't home with us so sorry no pics of her. Any how I will see you all in MN next week. Thursday and Friday I will be in Arlington. This is what I am thinking for Friday night 09NOV07 I would like to hold a random get together at some place in Mankato. On Saturday night I think we will get a hotel by the airport and possibly have another get together with whoever is around up there let me know what ya'll think, call or email me.

My 1st CA Blacktail Deer!

Hi

How are you all doing? Things in CA are well. I have been busy with work and last week I found out I am getting transferred to a new position. No no its a good thing actually a great thing. I have to clean up one more logistical position for this BN and then they said they would give me my Warrant Officer slot! Dude it is soooo great. Getting this slot is the main reason I came to CA and it is finally going to happen. YES!!! The good thing is that I only have to move up to Santa Rosa, I will continue living here in Petaluma and driving to Santa Rosa.

So last week before drill I got my first CA Blacktail Deer. I have attached a picture of him. I think it is pretty cool they sure are not as big as our Whitetail Deer in MN man. He was about 120lbs only. Our dog is really bigger then he was. Well I hope you are all well. We are closely approaching the holidays once again. I cant wait. I don't plan on coming home for any of them but, I will be coming home to the farm area from 8-11NOV07 just for a weekend. Mainly to check on my grandma and help with fall clean up on the farm. "THE SHINS" @ BERKELEY

So last Friday we went to see "The Shins"! I tell you what if ya'll have never even heard of them, hell even if you have, just go see them. We(Maria and I) saw them at the Berkeley Greek Theater in Berkeley. Dude that has to be the best place to see any show man. We had a great time, it was the same place we saw Incubus two months ago and they rocked dude. Things in CA are good people, I never thought I will feel comfortable here. I guess I am going on three years here so that may help. I hope some of you will come see me this year and we will do things, real things! I have tons of leave days I hardly used any last year. So come see CA, come see me! ;) Grace and her husband Joe are coming in two weeks, we have tons of things planned so there will be many pics. Have a great week people.

Got a new women!

Well ya'll I got a new women, she is a 120lbs Great Dane. I guess you could say we but the girls really sdont help to much. Nadia loves her but, Maria says "Why so big?" Her name is Kyza. She is truly a great dog and smart. She loves to lean on you and always wants to go everywhere. Its cool I have a huge backyard and an even bigger dog house for her. She does get to come to work with me this is her in my office. I upgraded to a new office and I get it all to myself. SWEET!I have it decorated to its fullest. Well, maybe I could add some stuff. I have not wrote in a bit but, things are good here and the weather is finally getting cool again YES!!!!! Oh yeah my favorite piece in my office is this seat I found. I mean look at it, just PERFECT. Hope ya'll are well and things don't suck to bad. :)

A Friday at work:)

Some my say you are not allowed to wear what you won't while serving in the US ARMY. I would beg to differ! I love to wear hats and I tell ever Officer I work for I wear hats while working in my office and I wear huge mirrored sunglasses while outside. If you don't know, they are both unauthorized items of wear in the military. But, I say its just me!! :) Have a great week ya'll. I am traveling to Fresno this week and home for the weekend.

My MN trip AUG07

Well its been a week so I am sure ya'll are waitin for an update on my fantastic trip home. I did have an enjoyable time my first week in MN. I worked and got a hotel in downtown Minneapolis which ended up being a smart move for me! I landed in MN on the 20th of AUG.










Went out Tuesday night downtown with Wally, went out Wednesday night to see a DJ at the Myth in Maplewood with Katy and Ben. Who by the way are getting married 8-8-08 yes!!! Rockstar!! The best part is I as asked to be a bridesmaid! And I said......YES!!! You know I wouldn't miss that for anything. Friday night downtown again with Katy, Ben, Wally, Ryan and his girlfriend. Got to sign some killer Karaoke at my favorite bar The Gluek! Sat. went out downtown again with Wally, Josh and my sis KT. Dude when Sunday came I just wanted to go to the farm. Dude it was such a great time I must say it was good to go out with friends again. CA gets a bit lonely at times. I must say we all had a good time each night we went out to find the one moment in that night which you can say to yourself "Its good to be alive dude!" So moving on to the next week now this is truly when my vacation did start and there was now partying this week I was so busy traveling around the state visiting friends and family. I went everywhere dude. I went to see see old co-workers in Jordan and had a blast at the horse track. I won 6 races in a row, now if thats not a record what is. I went visited my god children in Waseca! Dude, it was so good to see them. They are getting so big, its crazy. My nephew is crazy as every, but we have a good time no matter where we are.

Grandma and dad are doing well, I was able to help around the farm a little here and there. Nathanial and Emily are well, I got to help give their steers some growth stuff that was interesting. It was so hot for the first 10days I could cry dude but, then it got super nice just in time for myself, Matt and Amanda and her sister to got to the MN State Fair.









We had a great time like usual and there was a lot of food ate, maybe to much!! I bought my grandma a dog he should keep her plenty busy I hope. I got to see Paul and Misty they are good a lot of remodeling on their house. Gwen and Bob looked good still messing with the new house. Missy and Devon seemed to be busy the entire time I was there I think it was Devon! I got to have lunch with Jason who I have not seen in years. He is doing well and working on his second baby YAY!! Also Jay and his family are well and I just found out a couple days ago he had a baby girl! SWEET man congrats!!! Well that about does it for my trip to MN. I must say I had a great time. I don't know when I will return it probably will not be for a while. Maybe 1/2 years for 2009 X-Mas we will see. So everyone stay safe and keep me updated on your lives. I plan on doing a little traveling in 08 so look for some great pictures. I may be going to HW for X-Mas this year we will see.
